Microsoft could return to delay to the launching of its new operating system
Vista Windows Although it seems incredible, Microsoft could return to
delay to the launching of its new operating system Vista Windows. Although
some specialists of the sector already indicated that this could happen,
this time has admitted the own Steve to it Ballmer, delegated advisor of the
computer science giant. Some weeks ago, experts of the consultant Gartner
indicated that the new operating system is too complex to be ready in
November, month in which he had myself predicted to remove the version for
companies. p http://tuyyo.esp.cc /p The version for individual users
of the new Windows, the software that uses the 90 percent of all the
computers of the world, was predicted for January, after the season
navideña, although it is possible that now it is delayed "some weeks",
according to the indicated thing by Ballmer. Some experts have indicated
that that could be translated in months. The new Windows was initially
predicted for 2005, but it underwent delays due to the size and complexity
of the product. The launching could take now months more in arriving and
being delayed to between April and June of the next year, according to
Gartner. In agreement with the consultant specialized in technology, to the
multinational it took five months to him to happen of the version in tests
of Windows XP to definitive, but by his Vista magnitude it is looked more
like Windows 2000. To the company of Bill Gates he cost 16 months to him
to happen in the beginning of the second version in tests of Windows 2000 of
the production and, once this happens, the computer science manufacturers
will take between six and eight weeks in loading their computers with the
new operating system, according to Gartner. Microsoft announced at the
end of February that will make six versions of Vista. The new versions will
be centered in the use that give the consumers to the system instead of the
specifications of the personal computer, as it happened to date. One is
three versions destined the consumer, - Vista Home BASIC, Vista Home Premium
and Ultimate Edition-, two to the companies, - Vista Business and Vista
Enterprise-, p http://tuyyo.esp.cc /p more Vista Starter, for the
emergent markets. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT IN THE END THE WINDOWS WILL BE
WORSE Q ME OS DOES NOT SEEM?

"The limp excuse-cum-explanation for the further delay is that
resellers and system builder would themselves prefer it to arrive
later! This, it was reckoned, was because they'd be saying to
themselves, "At the start of January I'm on holiday; then when I
return there will be a big backlog; after which I'll have to do my tax
returns..."
