I'm going to try to do this same thing (connect Win98 computers on a LAN
with XP computers, using WorkGroups and Autologon)

I've done this before and believe I had problems with usernames - If
they're
all the same it is much easier.

I don't know how to set a network username on Win98 with AutoLogin.

Do you?

I'm sorry, but I don't know what you mean by "Autologon" and
"AutoLogin". Please explain.

I mean the form with Username and Password does not appear.

After booting the desktop appears immediately.

Thanks

Thanks for the explanation. One way to do that is with Tweak UI,
which is available from:

I've used it a long time ago and don't remember it doing that but I'll try
again and see if helps me set the network login name on the 98 machine.

Thanks
