How - Start DOS application Full Screen on startup?
Hi,
I have a problem with starting Command Prompt on Full Screen mode when Windows starts. I've configured that Command Prompt starts at Full Screen mode and put shortcut in Startup folder. When my Windows starts Comand Prompt starts also (in full screen), but after a short while he gets Minimized to Taskbar (probably cause other apps are opening so Comand Prompt is forced to diferent mode). I can open Comand Prompt in full screen clicking it in taskbar, or with ALT+TAB, but I want that Comand Prompt starts at Full Screen and stays at that mode. (when windows loads all apps) Is this possible?? How to force him to stay at full screen after all "startup" apps are loaded? Thx for answers! |

How - Start DOS application Full Screen on startup?
that's very odd, why do you want command prompt in startup anyway? i'd
really like to know. now, to address your problem, my safest bet is to delay the execution of cmd prompt after all the other startup programs have finished launching, this way, it will keep its' full-screen mode without any interferance. you can delay it's launch by using a program like delayexec, using it you can specify the number of seconds before it runs command, i say configure it to wait for like 8-12 seconds(depending on how many programs you have running in startup. make a shortcut to delayexec with the right paramater to command and seconds and then add this shortcut to your startup instead of the command prompt shortcut. you can download delayexec at this linkfreeware) http://www.rjlsoftware.com/software/utility/delayexec/ hopefully that will work..i'd still like to understand why you need cmd to run at startup. good luck. -Reply to group only.email is bogus. __________________________________________________ "shtuks" wrote in message ups.com...
