Default Sharing of files with Windows xp Home edition

I have set up a wireless network in house...My home computer is running
Windows XP Home edition and my new laptop is running on XP Professional. The
home computer can see the laptop but the Laptop cannot see the home computer
which means I cannot share the files with the laptop from the home computer.I
was told that this is a known problem and there is no fix for it unless I
upgrade Home edition to Professional.Any ideas or is this true?

I don't believe it is true as I have both systems on my wireless network.
But, you really need to post to an XP newsgroup for help instead of this W98
newsgroup.
