Default Losing Focus

For a few days the program that is active suddenly loses
focus. Boom. Just like that. If I click on it I get it
right back.

I ran a virus scanner and it said there are no viruses.

I do not think that I installed any new resident programs.
when I check on the Close Program dialog I do not see
anything unfamiliar.

Any ideas?

thank you.

install a spyware tracker and check, many running programs do not appear in
task list, especially those trying to hide themselves, the loss of focus
infers that something else is taking focus so you may have 'nasties', that do
not fit the description virus
