vnetsup.vxd slows computer down
Kind folks,
I posted here about a year ago, and again have need (I think) to use Microsoft Networking. When I enable vnetsup.vxd, every program takes about 15 seconds before it starts to load -- double-click, then wait. I haven't seen any CPU loading or anything during that time, just the delay. Networking itself works fine, once, say, Netscape is loaded. Any ideas? I either need to find another way to share my printer and files with my wife's Windows XP box, or I need to do something different with vnetsup.vxd. I've got version 4.90.0.3000. Any help or advice would be greatly, greatly appreciated. -- Mike Stucka / mstucka at math.luc.edu This person runs on ethanol, an environmentally friendly alternative fuel. |
