Acrobat reader
I am using acrobat reader 6.0.3. (for win98) and when I am on the internet
and I want to open a file on the internet that requries the reader, the reader will not open automatically. It show shows a tiny box in the left corner with a red X in it. Then I have to safe the target to my desktop and view it from there. What changes in interenet explorer do I need to make so I can veiw the document right on the internet? -- Bird |

Open the Reader and look for an options or preferences setting in one of the
drop down menuas. There should be a setting that tells the reader to monitor and open when you are on the web and click a file. (I'm running 7.02 on XP Pro so I can't give you the exact place to go to.) "Bird" wrote in message ... I am using acrobat reader 6.0.3. Jerry: I tried that and it didn't change anything. Any other suggestions? By
the way, I have WinME not Win98. My mistake. -- Bird "Jerry" wrote: Open the Reader and look for an options or preferences setting in one of the drop down menuas. You have to install the Acrobat plug-in... sorry, I disrecall how, perhaps in Acrobat Tools/Options/Preferences or by rerunning the Install program and choosing "Install Acrobat IE plug-in" Rick |
