Computer slow down

I have been having a problem with my laptop running on me. I appears tp bog
down
touch pad appears to stop working, pages are slow to refresh. Once I reboot it
operates fine for a couple of hours then the problem re appears. I have
seached
for virus's, malware. I feel like there is a demon in this machine. any help
is
appreciated.

Hi, Richard. I'm suddenly having the same problem on my ME desktop. Have run
many maintenance tools (McAfee Stinger, CWShredder, Ad-aware, SpyBot S&D,
ScanDefrag, etc.) many times in Safe Mode. (Have been unable to DL two other
recommended tools: BHO Demon and BHO Cop). Have DLd all the latest Microsoft
updates. Yet, PC still runs slow after 2-3 hours. Even my PC's clock loses
time as I'm using the computer. It think it all started when my AV was
catching 2-3 js.sulzer.downloader viruses in email attachments every day for
a number of weeks. Sorta stumped. I'll post back if I find a solution. Joe

I think there are worms that no AV can know them. Rename your Windows
foilder and install Me from a CD cuz the worm might had endomaged
C:\windows\options\install or C:\windows\options\cabs. If that does not fix,
update your AV or reformat (to perform a quick format, Type Format C: /Q
instead of Format C.
