Default volume

Hi i recently lost all sound on my computer.My speakers
work because when i plug it into the speaker jack i can
hear noise.Thats the only noise i am hearing though
nothing else works.The only thing that is different on my
computer is i added a new printer thats it.Any ideas or
thoughts?

There might be a hardware resources conflict. Right-click My Computer, then
click Properties. On the Device Manager tab, see if anything has a yellow
exclamation mark.
