Windows 98 won't start up
A couple of weeks ago, my computer froze during shutdown.
So I held the power button down for 5 seconds until it shut down. Then, because when I do that 10 minutes later it turns back on by itsself, I turned the power supply off also. The next day when I tried to turn it on, it said it was missing a file during startup and wouldn't start. I don't know what the file was because now every time I try to start it, it says "General failure reading drive C: Abort, Retry, or Fail?" It also says that when I try to start it in safe mode. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance. |
