A format deletes everything on the partition that you format. If you want
rid of the W95 folder only, boot with a floppy start up disk. At the A: prompt, type: C: and hit enter. At the C: prompt, type: Deltree windows and hit enter. Enter Y and hit enter. This assumes that your system is installed in a folder named Windows--everything in the folder will be deleted. For information on installing W98, go to: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour/html/w98_restore.html -- Regards Ron Badour, MS MVP for W98 Tips: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour Knowledge Base Info: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=kbinfo wrote in message ...
