Win98 and RAID
If I use two IDE harddrives and utilise my motherboards
IDE Raid 0 striping, will Windows 98/SE benefit, since it's being done by the hardware? Because apparently Win98/SE doesn't support RAID. Secondly, what performance boost would I get if I were, say, to upgrade from a 7200rpm UltraDMA/33 hdd to 2x 15000rpm RAID 0 hard drive's? Just for interest sake. |
