Windows ME
The entire contents of your windows\temp folder can be deleted which is why it
is called Temp (for temporary) although it is always advisable to reboot your system before so doing as it may contain files needed to complete a software or driver install or upgrade that can only be completed during a reboot. Perhaps you should also check out and clear your temporary internet files whilst your doing that. Do that using the tool provided: Control Panel | Internet Options | General | Delete Files and check the box "Delete all offline content", OK and Apply. Also accessible from Internet Explorer | Tools | Internet Options, etc. -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP Al wrote: Can the contents of the TEMP file in Windows be deleted ??? My file is over 500 MB in size |
