Default lost driver

i have been trying to install a web cam and wot comes up
on screen is....cannot find vfw driver? where do find
it.. pleases can anyone help

It is either in your camera software or your video card drivers. You may
have to possibly upgrade your vid card dirvers.
Just guessing.
Try a Google search for "vfw driver" ,look on the camera mfg's website,
or on the vid card mfg's website.

What file or files are mentioned as missing?
msvfw32.dll, vfwwdm32.dll, vfwwdm.drv?

They can all be extracted to the Windows\System folder, from the Windows CD, or from
the .cab file location on the hard drive, using the "Extract one file" option of
System File Checker (SFC).

When I purchased my webcam I had the same problem. I had to borrow someone webcam disk. But you should be able to go to the web site and download the driver from there. Good luck
