98SE/ME NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra Chipset Driver
I am running a triple boot system, 98SE / ME / XP Pro. I have just upgraded
with a new motherboard with an NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra Chipset. Does anyone know of a 98SE / ME driver for this chipset or maybe a work around in order to get these two FAT systems up and running? I am not looking to use any of the special features of this chipset like RAID or SATA, I just want these systems to operate the way they were originally designed with the new motherboard? I am able to boot the systems but the Desktop looks like a Safe Mode display and there are no Hard Drives or CD drives listed in Device Manager or My Computer, only a Floppy Drive. I can access the two FAT partitions with no problem as they are listed in My Computer as C & D drives. The systems run in MSDOS Compatibility Mode and I am unable to do a registry repair deleting the NOIDE value as there is none listed. Any help in solving the problem would be most appreciated. |
