Default Last User Logon - default on next start-up

Hi Group,

How to get my machine to remember which user was last logged-on and to load
up that same profile on the next start-up?

regards
Michael

p.s. I thought I had this working correctly but I seem to be defaulting to a
generic profile each time, (regardless of who was logged on last). Yet,
when I log off, the machine then invites me to "log off Michael . . ."
where "Michael" is indeed the last person logged on. Could this indicate a
virus?
