If there is a details button, click it and provide the **exact** message you
find there--the registers are not required. Will the PC boot in safe mode?

I tried clicking on the details button, but nothing
happened and the cursur has an arrow/hour glass
combination. I tried to boot in safe mode as well, but I
received the same error message

Is the error message quoted exactly? Did you wait very long for the details
message to occur? Press ctrl-alt-del and see what programs, if any, are
listed. Try a step-by-step confirmation boot answering yes to each question
and see where the boot fails.
