USB Ports Don't Work
I have a Compaq Presario 1200 laptop with Windows ME installed. It has 2 USB
ports. They worked fine until I plugged in a powered hub. The hub works fine and the USB ports on the hub work fine, but when I unplug the hub, neither of the USB ports on the laptop itself will work. I read something in another post about low-powered vs. high-powered ports or drivers????? I am giving this laptop away. I just did a restore back to original from a restore disk. Everything looks great, except that my USB ports still don't work. Any ideas on what I need to do to get them to be functional?
