Glen:

I have only three of the four mentioned. I don't see anything related
to "Set Up the Microsoft Network".

It tells me that your Desktop should show icons for the following four items:
- Recycle Bin
- Set Up The Microsoft Network
- My Documents
- Outlook
(as well as whatever shortcut icons you have created there, and hopefully also 'My
Computer').

Do all four of those icons appear on your Desktop?

In that case, the sub-key you should delete is the one that describes itself as "Set
Up The Microsoft Network"....the sub-key named:
{4B876A40-4EE8-11D1-811E-00C04FB98EEC}

You will probably need to restart after deleting that sub-key.

Thank you Glen, the icon is gone! No "Setup the MS Network" icon either
(not that I need it).

I hope you appreciate the fact that the service you provide to the
newsgroup is (as the T.V. ad goes) "priceless." The PC has become so
much a part of our lives that I don't know what we would do without
people like you. Relieving the stress that we endure when things go
wrong and we don't know what to do about it, should put you into the
category of "health care professionals."

Thanks, again.

Glad you found it! Hmmm...'health care professional', I like that. ;-)
Believe me, many of us started out in the same place as you, and came to these
groups seeking help ourselves.

Wonder if "Health Care Professionals" make more money? Judging by
insurance rates, one would assume so.

I was going to mention something about that in my reply, considering that was don't
get paid *anything* for this. ;-)
I would be happy to make half what a health care professional makes, at my day job.
Then I might be able to afford the insurance!

Well, I think you'd have to be pretty high on the totem pole to afford
insurance, even in the Health Care arena, s
