PCI-USB2 card for Windows 98SE?
Has anyone gotten any PCI-USB2 card to actually work for WINDOWS 98SE?
I have one from NEWEGG (UC-160, from China) that works well on windows 2000 and windows XP, but, it will not install on windows 98SE, and there is no *.inf file on the CD. The book says that windows 98SE will use "base5.cab" from the windows 98SE CD, but the installation process will not accept that file - it keeps asking for a *.inf file. Does anyone know how to get windows 98SE to use base5.cab when it is needing a driver? Thanks, littleberry |
