Microsoft visual basic error.

Please help. I have a laptop that is running Windows 98. I am getting an
error that says something about Microsoft Visual Basic. It occurs with
several programs so I'm not sure if it's a Windows problem or if it's with
another program. Is there anything that anyone can suggest that I try? Thanks

Please post the exact error received.

It may be you just need the latest VB runtime files.
