Default http://www.altrichmond.ca ? (!)

Does anyone here know about this? I was looking for details on the SVGA
driver in W98, and one lead turned up SciTech SNAP, (SciTech's name bugged me
till I remembered Thanatoid mentioning Display Doctor a wile back).

SciTech sold the source code for all their cross-platform drivers, and this
http://www.altrichmond.ca/ firm seems to have been buying up verious grahics-
related subsystems and preserving a corporate front with no apparent
technical activity at all. Are they out there purely to bury opportunities
people might otherwise have taken, or are they intending to DO something
useful with all that stuff they've been aquiring for the last few years? If
anyone can add to the little I got from Wikipedia, please do. Those SNAP
drivers might have helped immensely with all kinds of developments, but they
seem to have been stuffed into a private oubliette for half a decade instead.
