HELLLLP!!!!!!

I am having problems when I go to game sites on yahoo or try to go to chat
rooms,my applets are not popping up and all there is is a little box with a
red square,green circle and blue triangle,and no applet not responding
messages or anything.I am running Windows ME.
Please Help, Thanks. JMB

Do you have a popup stopper on there? And do you have the latest Java??
There is an update on Sun Java....1.4.2_05.

Yes Heather,
I have pop-up stopper and have tried to install the new Java Sun twice.When
I installed the new Java and I went to the internet my computer kept freezing
on me so I uninstalled it.

Well, your popup stopper is probably half of your problem. Either
temporarily disable it or hold down the Ctrl key when clicking on a game.
It is preventing the game from *popping up*. As for Sun Java, I had no
problems at all......I also uninstalled the previous one from Add/Remove
Programs after the new one was on. Check and see how many you have in
there.

Sun Java goes I will try it again because I have been fighting spy ware and
virus's lately,I will let you know how I make out.

I downloaded the Sun Java and it worked okay and I got my applets
back.

Glad to hear that....mustn't be without our games, grin. I have problems
with Pogo now and again, but it is so graphics-heavy, that they do cause me
some grief.

I guess I am the Pogo Queen on here......no one else plays these games, so I
have to troubleshoot them on my own, lol.

That's the first I've heard about Pogo,will have to try it sometime,good luck
