Default PCI Ethernet Network Adapter

Hi,
Recently I bought a laptop with winXP and I want to make
my own network with old computer Compaq Presario 7360
win98SE.Before installing the Router I had to install PC
Ethernet Network Adapter(D-Link DFE-530TX+) to my old
computer.I did it physically, computer recognize the new
hardware card but when I put the floppy(which I got
together with adapter) with a driver...I get the
sign"Windows was unable to locate a driver for this
device".
I don't know what to do next..can someone help
me..please. Thank you

Did you carefully follow the instructions that came with
the driver floppy? It probably has drivers for assorted
operating systems, with a different procedure for each.

ftp://ftp.dlink.com/NIC/dfe530tx+/Dr...river_5397.exe

download that and run it. if it extracts to another folder then just tell
windows to look in that direc tory when installing the drivers.
