Why? Windows XP will remove all traces of WindowsMe when it "upgrades" it.
That's how the upgrade works. -- Richard G. Harper [MVP Win9x] * PLEASE post all messages and replies in the newsgroups * for the benefit of all. -----Original Message----- Can anyone tell me how to completely remove the Windows Millennium OS in order to upgrade to Windows XP? . I don't have the answer to your question except that Microsoft tech support should help you. And I've been told that there is an XP "update" CD that can copy right over ME. |
