98SE Service Packs & Updates

Are updates/svc paks for 98SE available on CD-ROM? How can I obtain them?

There is a Security Update CD, which includes all the security updates for
Win98/98SE/ME, up through October 2003, as I recall. It is handy when you do a
clean install and have to install all the updates since 1998/99. After installing
the updates from the CD, you must go to Windows Update and get the Critical Updates
that came out after October 2003. The CD is no longer available via the MS web
site, however you can order it through the Microsoft Order Desk (US), by phone:
1-800-360-7561, Monday through Friday, 5:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Pacific time.
It is available in the US and UK only, AFAIK.

I would stick with the CD and then use Windows Update to help avoid
potential conflicts.
