Default AV scanner can't open Swap File.

Hi
When I run an AntiVir AV scan, it "warns" me everytime that it cannot
open the file Win386.SWP which I presume is the Swap file.
No other AV scanner seems to be concerned about this.
Should I be?

TIA
Paul

No. The swap file, like any other file that is currently in use, cannot
be opened by another application, in this case your AV application.

Hi Mike
Thanks for your reply.
Given what you say, it seems strange that a respected AV scanner like
AntiVir should be unable to recognize that a file with an SWP extension
HAS to be the swap file and, therefore is almost certainly in use.
Also, it doesn't seem to make sense to AV-scan the swap file as nothing
ever stays there for too long.
Anyway, I'll just ignore it in future.
