Is there anything for Windows 98 that works like Windows
Picture and Fax Viewer in XP? I need something that I can
open the first picture in a folder and just hit next to
view the next picture in the same folder. Thanks for the
help.

I had the same problem / question.

I just did a system rebuild on a friends W98 machine (was FE now SE)
Before the rebuild - Windows Explorer had the capability to view Jpeg files and also displayed a small image of the photo when the file was single clicked.

After the rebuild - lost that ability - don't know what program provided the view.

Installed the irfanview program - works great.
Only problem so far - it does not develop a preview panel of the picture - I have to open the file to see what the image is.
Constantly opening and closing (or using slide show).

What am I missing to bring back the preview?

Thanks -
