Default fatal exception error

I left the room when computer booted up so I don't know
how far computer loaded before blue screen appeared and
this error occurred :
A fatal exception OE has occured at 0028:C174E41B in VXD
WSOCK2 (01) +0000373B.
Following that error were the usual list of options-e.g.:
press any key....I did a CAD to restart computer and was
okay.
Any thoughts, please?
Judy

Unless you can get the error to repeat, it was probably just a temporary
glitch.

Yea, I thought it could just be a 'glitch' on boot up when
it rebooted okay. I get these errors once in awhile and
ignore them if I reboot okay.
I figured I should probably start to take them a little
more seriously and ask questions this time.
