FLV to MPG or WMV converter

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can download a .FLV (flash video from YouTube)
into MPG or WMV format? I would like a freeware version, but I am willing to
pay for a shareware.

If you use Opera, it will save flv files with a tmp or swf
extension in its cache. Move them to another directory, change
the extension, and then you can use the free Riva FLV player to
watch them.

I think there are add-ons for Firefox that allow you to save the
flv files (they are by design intended for "live on-line" use
only). IE users are SOL AFAIK.

It is not possible to *download* a video (flv or other) "into"
another format. You get what you get and convert/view later.

There are dozens or hundreds of video utilities some of which
will convert between flv and other formats if you really want to
do that, but it's just a hassle IMHO. FLV is a very compact and
efficient format. Google for "flv video converter" if you want
to experiment.

Use File-Wizard-Transcode/save to file.

You can try for it 'Flash to Video Encoder PRO'
(http://www.geovid.com/Flash_to_Video_Encoder_PRO/). It's easy convert
flv to digital video format. I use it long time and I haven't any
problem with it. There is a free trial version without time limit.
