error 645 and pptp

Hi

I get this error on a win98 computer trying to pptp to a comany firewall..
all other os's are able to connect without any problems. I've installed the
vpn adapter and I'm unable to find anything on the internet to help
troubleshoot this error. Any help would be appreciated
