Auto disconnect disabled

Hi to all,

My auto disconnect function has been disabled by visitors to my computer.

Can someone tell me how to restore it?

I see something at...

"Control Panel, Internet Options, Connections tab, Settings button,
Advanced button". Check one/both of the "Disconnect" boxes there.

Yes checking the box:

"Disconnect when connection may no longer be needed."

did the trick, but I had to restart the computer before the settings took
effect.
