Problem with user config conflicts

Just set up a new user on network. Loaded Outlook 2000
on system. Ran Outlook, it pointed to a different users
mailbox, changed to correct mailbox. Every thing seemed
OK. Then the other user complained that she could not
access her mailbox. Checked her system it was now
pointing to the new users mailbox. Changed this, now I
am back where I started. The new user is unable to get
mail her profile pointing to wrong mailbox???

HELP I'm going in circles!!!!!!

Please post to an Outlook newsgroup--maybe one of the experts there can
help.
