JPEG's open with notepad or workpad

All of my jpgs files open with note pad or if to big word pad. I want to know how to make them open the way they are suppose to. When I go to the "folder options" in file types, I find JPEG Image.. open that I see,discription of type " JPEG Image... Content type ( MIME)image/pjpeg...Default Extention type: .jpg...then at the bottom. I see "Open". Open is the only thing listed there.
Now please tell me how to put things back to the default way of viewing these files. I do not want that other program you have mentioned in previous disscussions here.. I want my jpgs to look like jpg files and open to a picture. If I have to extract a file from the installtion disk , please tell me what that file is . Even though it says these jpgs open with IE.. they still open in notepad. I have used the reset to default button here .. but nothing changes. Please just tell me how to put things to the way they are suppose to be.

Highlight one of the files.
Hold down the shift key and right-click on it.
Choose "Open with..."
Checkmark the box "Always use this program....."
Scroll down to and click iexplore to highlight it
Click OK

I fixed the jpg problem. Now .. the onlything now is .. I cant get them to show in the preview... when I have my folders to be seen as web page. I guess I can just keep messing with it.. Any suggestions on this ?
