System clock fix
For the past month or so my system clock has been losing from 10 to 30
minutes per day. I replaced the CMOS battery but that did not fix the problem. I downloaded the new MS critical fixes yesterday and now my clock is once again accurate. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Also, my USB mouse no longer skips all over the place as a web page is loading. (or other similar tasks) I had a feeling the clock issue was not the battery because when I powered the system down and unplugged it the clock kept time. It was only when the system was running that the clock lost time. |

System clock fix
You, obviously, had something eating so much cpu cycles that it took away
from your clock. Whatever it was seems to have been eliminated at this point. Heirloom, old and it could happen "DanR" wrote in message ...
