No, any NNTP (Usenet) server will probably have the group. Microsoft has dropped it from their server, but that doesn't affect other servers. -- Tim Slattery http://members.cox.net/slatteryt |

Thanks, I sort of thought this is how it was going to work, but the lack of posts made me wonder... The group being here - obviously - but no posts, and around the end of the month... I hope this group lives on - using XP more than I would like to (I /finally/ bought a digital camera - only about a month after buying my first USB flash drive (I am very impressed with both), and also have a stupid analog video capture card), and the 2 weeks of Linux hell I went through a little while ago has made me realize 98SELite /is/ the best OS... Just don't use ANY MS software except the OS, and tweak the hell out of the OS using 3rd party tools - starting with Lite :-) (Although I hear BeOS/Haiti is pretty good. I may try it someday... But I also "heard" Linux was pretty good... Sigh...) -- Any mental activity is easy if it need not be subjected to reality. |
