Help!!display settings won't change
I don't know why when i restarted my pc after it froze getting on line, that
it restarted in a safe mode type setting. The settings will not allow me to change my screen to 800x600 pixels or higher. The color are on 256 colors, and will not let me to make high or true color. It keeps telling me to check my display hardware in device manager.Does anyone know how to fix this. Everything is huge an i can't see the whole screen clearly. |

Reboot to Safe Mode
Open Device Manager Remove ALL Display Adapters Remove ALL Monitors Reboot to Normal Mode - Windows will reinstall the required drivers - hopefully curing your problem. -- Noel Paton (MS-MVP 2002-2006, Windows) Nil Carborundum Illegitemi http://www.crashfixpc.com/millsrpch.htm http://tinyurl.com/6oztj Please read http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm on how to post messages to NG's "faris" wrote in message ...
