Default USB connection

I have W/me on my Compaq laptop - want to use a memory stick with the USB -
get the message "cannot find the driver ..." - looks for a file called
"resource".
Where would I find the driver for this.
I have only a recovery disc for the laptop, that came with the laptop.

Thank you
SM

Look at the HP website...... or at the website of the memory stick
manufacturer.
