Minature New windows
Just had a bout with Spyware and Adware. I was able to
finally get rid of everything, but one thing that did occur but have not been able to correct, is every window that opens, opens in a postage stamp size. I can click on Maximize to open it up with no trouble, but this is getting annoying. Any suggestion to reset the opening setting? |

Don't maximise the window, drag it to your preferred size. Then close it.
What happens if you now open a new window? -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP Jacquie wrote: Just had a bout with Spyware and Adware. Mike:
That works, but isn't there some sort of 'Default' setting or some universal way of correcting this problem other than one window at a time? I do thank you for your kind assistance. -----Original Message----- Don't maximise the window, drag it to your preferred size. Then close it. Jacquie,
If you are referring to Explorer then you shouldn't have to keep doing it. Once you've opened the window in the way I suggested and then exited Explorer the next time you open Explorer it should be in the larger size you selected. If you're talking about every application and window you open then yes, it would appear that there is something wrong and needing correction. Unfortunately at the moment I'm not sure I know how to correct that and don't really have the time to look into it today. Sorry. -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP Jacquie wrote: That works, but isn't there some sort of 'Default' setting or some universal way of correcting this problem other than one window at a time?
