Default compatibilty mode paging & ms dos compatibility mode file system

can anyone answer me the following question.....

i loaded windows 98SE on my harddrive and when windows
loads it wont load all the way and when i go to device
manager and click on the performance tab under

file system
some drives are using MS-DOS compatibility

virtual memory
MS-DOS compatibilty mode

MS-DOS mode reduces overall system performance
DRIVE A IS USING MS-DOS COMPATIBILITY MODE FILE SYSTEM
DRIVE C IS USING MS-DOS COMPATIBILITY MODE FILE SYSTEM

CAN ANYONE OUT THERE TELL ME HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM I
HVAE TRIED ALL I CAN THINK OF.....ANY HELP WOULD BE
APPRECIATED THANK YOU
