stop programs from running when I start my computer

Default stop programs from running when I start my computer

I am not very good at changing a lot of things around in
my computer, but i try to read the guide to direct me, I
am not to sure what to do about all the many programs that
start on my computer when it first comes on, I don't want
to delete them but I donot want them running everytime I
start my computer, can you help me with this.

Most of the programs can be told not to autostart by

using the program's
Options/Preferences and unchecking "Load at Windows

Startup".

You might want to try running msconfig and unchecking any programs in start
up that you don't want. But make sure you uncheck the only the ones that
are not essential to running your system. Look at this site first:
