I've been with windows for ages. I never had to install a
password to log-on. For the past few weeks, Ive been asjed
to enter my password to log on. How do I fix pc so as not
to have to enter password??

That's a new safety feature by Microsoft which you installed with your =
last update.
You don't have to use a password, if you don't want to,
just click on "cancel".

Try going to startsettingscontrol panelnetwork and mid way down on the
screen in Primary Network Logon: select 'windows logon' . Click OK.
