Deleting ActiveX Controls-Do these "Regenerate"?
Hello:
At Internet Properties---Settings---View Objects ---Downloaded Program Files. [in Windows ME] Most of these are of the type Active X Controls. Several are from Symantec. Will these Active X files "regenerate" if I delete them and then revisit those sites? Are these Active X files automatically restored as needed? Are they safe to delete? Thanks in advance: -Eli OS: Windows ME IE: 6.0.2800.1106 |

Deleting ActiveX Controls-Do these "Regenerate"?
Hi,
It's safe to delete any/all of those. If a site needs one, it should prompt you to download it on the next visit. Don -- MVP IE/OE Please reply to the newsgroup so that others may participate.
