Bootsector Write Virus
Previously Windows 98 was installed on my machine (presumably FAT partition).
Due to problems with Windows 98 starting up, i decided to re-format the C partition on the hard disk but kept getting the message "BootsectorWriteVirus, Continue y/n?". Is there any procedure I should use in order to clean this virus, if it can be, that is..? |

You should change that setting back to what it was after finishing the
installation and before going on-line. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) "MikeDiamond1234" wrote in message ... Changing the BIOS anti-virus settings to disable solved my problem. Thanks again. |
