ACPI Power Button shows up twice
In Device Manager, under System Devices, "ACPI Power Button" shows up
twice, one after the other. Can it have always been like that w/o my noticing? They both claim to be working properly. The first has no driver & says it doesn't need one. The second is using... C:\Windows\System\ACPI.sys C:\Windows\System\VMM32.vxd (ntkern.vxd) ....in this Win98SE machine. I've tried removing both buttons in Safe Mode & rebooting to Normal Mode -- but both came back! -- Thanks or Good Luck, There may be humor in this post, and, Naturally, you will not sue, Should things get worse after this, PCR |

Maybe one on the computer housing and the other on the keyboard? |

I've only got one of those -- and one ''ACPI System Button''. Sorry to trouble you and Hot-Text over that. And thanks anyway.
