A disk that has a partition of 2Gb was probably originally created as FAT16,
which is the only form of FAT that NT understands. That would explain the partition size of 2Gb, even though it may have been converted subsequently to FAT32. Windows does not have tools for changing a partition size, although third-party utilities are available. The simplest option is to clear the disk and start from scratch. When you run FDISK you must answer Y to the question about large hard disk support. If you don't allow large hard disk support you will be limited to FAT16 which has a maximum partition size of 2Gb. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (DTS) "dat919" wrote in message ...
