Default Windows 98 Games

I have several Windows 98 games that I have tried to install on Windows xp,
but have been unsuccessful each time. I was told there was a way to revert my
XP to 98 but i do not know how. I was told this would allow installation but
not affect XP. Anybody got a clue?

You don't provide enough info--is it that the games will not install or do
not run properly once installed. XP does not revert but it does have a
compatibility mode. Right click an execute file (sometimes it works on a
shortcut to the .exe file as well), select properties and select the
compatibility tab.
