I think you left out...
[operating systems]

multi(0)disk(1)rdisk(0)partition(0)\WINNT = "Microsoft Windows 2000

I think you meant...
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(0)\WINNT = "Microsoft Windows 2000"

Professional" /fastdetect
C:\ = "Microsoft Windows"

the BOOT.INI have to go in to C:\ to work

That's true, I think. But I'm no expert in this. So, you've got two
drives. Both have W2K. one is letter C: for sure, & the other you say is
E:. The choices this Boot.ini offers are...

"Microsoft Windows"
"Microsoft Windows 2000"

OK, then.

Mr. PCR

For legg have
Drv 1 Vol _1 & 2
Drv 2

C is 98 or 0,0,0,1
if you add a partition
D is know Body or 0,0,0,2
if you add a Head Drive
E is 2000 or 0,1,0,0
F is 1 CD/DVD -Rom or 1,0,0,0
if you add a CD/DVD -Rom
G is 2 DVD -Rom or 2,0,0,0

if you Can add a partitions in CD/DVD
And it would be 2 DVD -Rom on partition or 2,0,0,2

You can not make 2000 work on D when know Body have it First!
You can Rename the Drives letter it's just a title ..
When COS set the Drives it give it no Titles, but give Orders out as
info::0, have 2, 0, have 2, 1 have 0,

DOS did the Mathematic at setup or install!
(Default) 1 multi is (0) or (IDE) 1 disk or drv is (0) X 1 partition or vol
is (0)

(Note: (C:) (D:\) all the way to (Z:\) or Titles of or Start names in
Software mapping!

IDE DRV # VOL #
multi 1 disk 1 partition 1 (0,0,0,1) C
multi 1 disk 1 partition 2 (0.0,0,2) D
multi 1 disk 2 partition 0 (0,1,0,0) E
multi 2 disk 1 partition 0 (1,0,0,0) DVD or CD = F

If he put a Windows 2000 disk that was install on C:\ it map to (0,0,0,1)
or D:\ it map to (0.0,0,2) he Broking up the wrong tree!
For he is trying to run on (0,1,0,0) E and 2000 is not Map to work there!
If 2000 install on D:/ he have to Delete D:\ from Win 98 Disk So 2000 can
run on D:(0,1,0,0) D

I rather doubt it, none of the ARC paths in his posted boot.ini point to
anything! The partitions always start at 1 and the disk() parameter is
only used with scsi disks, for other installations it is always disk(0)...

Detail in photgraph of a model of Track on the Bottom Monorail Half.

Caption;-
Schilowsky's Monorail Car.

Extract from Chapter V;-
73. Another ingenious application of the gyroscope to a monorail car
has lately (Feb., 1914) been made by Monsieur Schilowsky, a Russian
inventor.....

So far as experiments have gone at present the weight of the gyroscope
is designed to be something between 1/10th and 1/25th of the whole
weight of the car, while the two pendulums together are about 1/3rd
of the weight of the gyroscope.

The author is indebted to M. Schilosky both for the diagrams and the
photograph from which plate IV has been made. A model of the car has
been presented by the inventor to the Science Museum at South
Kensington and can be viewed by the public at anytime. An article
on this monorail is to be found in the issue of The Engineer
for January 23, 1914.
