I have that key, Solkeys. Here...

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{92187326-72B4-11d0-A1AC-0000F8026977}\ProgID]
@="Game Controllers CPL Handler"

Do you know how to get it in? It is part of this bigger entry...

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{92187326-72B4-11d0-A1AC-0000F8026977}]
@="Game Controllers CPL Shell Extension Default Property Sheets"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{92187326-72B4-11d0-A1AC-0000F8026977}\ProgID]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{92187326-72B4-11d0-A1AC-0000F8026977}\InProcHa

@="C:\\WINDOWS\\SYSTEM\\gchand.dll"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{92187326-72B4-11d0-A1AC-0000F8026977}\InProcSe
rver32]
@="C:\\WINDOWS\\SYSTEM\\gcdef.dll"
"ThreadingModel"="Apartment"

NOTE: Those are EXPORTS. In the Registry,...
(a) You will see single slashes-- not double.
(b) You will see (default)-- not @.

Copy those 4 lines into a Notepad files named... FixGC.reg
NOTE: In Notepad's save box, enclose "FixGC.reg" in quotes so that
Notepad won't attach ".txt" to it!

Then, click FixGC.reg to have it insert into the Registry. Apparently,
Windows now will know the ID of your Game Controllers CPL Handler.

NOTE:
By default, when a ".reg" is clicked, it will Merge into the Registry.
To alter the default behavior: "START, Settings, Folder Options, File
Types tab". Scroll to & click "Registration Entries", click the "Edit"
button, select "edit" in the window & click the "Set Default" button.
Now, when you click a ".reg" file, it will open in Notepad for
examination. To merge it into the Registry, R-Clk it & select "Merge".

You are welcome. Glad to hear it. I can't say for sure what the key is
used for. The key seems to pertain to a joystick, but I don't have one.
