Default Start up problems

When i start windows 98 i have to do it file by file and
say no to a file that starts with " REM TShoot" and then a
bunch of jiberish. If i let it start on normal, the windows
98 screen apears and it goes no further.
Actually, two screens start with the " REM Tshoot" and
then jiberish, but if i say yes to the first and no to the
second, it will still start.
How can I get rid of these start up files so that windows
will start by itself.
Thanks Ray Hod

I had a similar problem yesterday. What I did was start
the pc in safe mode prompt commands (number 6 I think, last
on the list) and then type in scranreg/restore. Then
restore you settings from a previous day.

Could those files be Config.sys & Autoexec.bat? There shouldn't be a
blank in front of the "REM" of "REM TShoot". So...

START button, Run, SysEdit

....& post those two files.

Thanks or Good Luck,
There may be humor in this post, and,
Naturally, you will not sue,
should things get worse after this,
